American EV maker Tesla is doubling its North America Supercharger points for to support its car owners. This was revealed by the car maker to its shareholders through its quarterly news letter. Currently in the United States, Canada, and Mexico they are having more than 2,636 Superchargers at 373 different locations for quick charging purpose. Their Superchargers are expected to be doubled at by the end of this year 2017.
Tesla’s Supercharging network is good for the owners of their Model S and Model X vehicles to get charged rapidly their vehicles while they are driving on a long road trip. Tesla used to go as much as 170 miles of range with a 30 minutes of charging at any of the Supercharger points. This will be also good for the future Model 3 too.
EV Tesla got nearly 5,043 Supercharger connections across 790 locations around the world as of December 31, 2016, which had increased by around 10 percent from the year 2015.
