AutoMobili-D was open only to the press during the last January show. The time had changed and the public visiting the next Detroit auto show in the coming year can get a better view the future of the automotive industry in this show days. Tha official had made arrangements for the show’s AutoMobili-D technology and mobility exhibition to be continued through the first weekend when the North American International Auto Show is opened to the general public.
During the last the 2017 International Auto show a test track and displays were set in 120,000 square feet of the Cobo Center Atrium. Around 180 automakers, suppliers and technology startups had their demonstrations and discussions at this venue about their self driving cars and other looks at the future of the auto indusry.
Michigan Gov. Rick Snyder said the public days will be “the perfect place for people who love cars and have in-demand skills to connect with industry representatives looking for talent.”
Nearly 200,000 people had attended during the first weekend of this year’s public show.
Public show dates for the 2018 show are set to Jan. 20-28.
